2-Day Advanced Workshop

2-Day ESMT Advanced Workshop

The Advanced Workshop is designed to take the ESMT skills of an Equissage graduate to the next level. Drawing on each student's individual experience to date as professional ESMTs, we will manage live case studies and learn from each other's insights in a fun and informative informal setting with instructor feedback.

Students will learn two additional modalities to enhance their client/practice offerings:

Day One.

Introduction to Equine BioEnergetics:

As a Reiki Master Practitioner/Teacher since 2003, Sara is an experienced teacher of equine bio-field energy therapy. We will learn the foundational principles of bioenergetics for the horse, and practice sensing and working with the equine bio-electric field.

Discussion of Electromagnetic Frequencies (EMF) in the equine environment and learn basic shielding principles aimed at enhancing barn safety and equine disposition.

Day Two.

Introduction to the use of Essential Oils in an Equine Setting:

Discussion of 20 essential oils, their properties, equine applications, and some barn recipes for everyday use.

An Introduction to Symmetria™

Symmetria™ is an holistic animal stress reduction strategy combining acupressure and essential oil therapy, requiring the therapist’s engagement with the equine energy centers and personal meditative practice. Symmetria™ applies a system of acupressure and essential oil therapy to the equine energy centers and the major muscle groups. This is designed to dispel blockages in the bio-field, and to address pain and adhesions in the soft tissue promoting health and natural balance.

The ESMT Advanced Workshop is held on a Thursday and Friday. Tuition is $895, including a non-refundable deposit of $395.

Prerequisite: Must be an Equissage-certified Equine Sports Massage Therapist (ESMT).
